Join us
for two sessions of watercolor painting in the rural setting of old farm
equipment, an old barn, a wide variety of foliage including very old apple
trees, with a mature artist on the ol’ Palouse!
Ken offers his studio and property for this two day workshop, Friday May
27th, 6 – 9 and May 28th, 8:30 – 4:00. For the watercolor enthusiast with some
experience painting, this workshop will focus on the compositional structure of
a good painting and making your watercolors dynamic through manipulating focus,
color intensity and value contrast.
Friday evening will be about some get acquainted time, a watercolor
demonstration, discussion and questions and answers throughout. Saturday will be plein aire painting,
individual instruction and gentle personal critiques throughout the day, with a
group sharing at the conclusion. Bring a
