ARTREACH
Your opportunity to
bring professional
artists and teaching
materials to your
students, clients or
staff. We work with
you to design
work-shops and classes
to fit your needs.
Spokane Art School is a respected, private, non-profit arts institution that has been actively working to make Spokane a more creative, visually savvy community since 1968. The Art School has helped thousands of Spokane children and adults
become more creative and by gaining understanding and the skills to fully involve themselves in the visual world.
Communicating ideas in new ways; sharing abstract thoughts and
information through visual means, and solving problems
creatively are all skills vital to success for business and civic life. The
ARTREACH program offers you and your organization access to the same high-quality faculty that regularly teaches at the Art School. We provide the opportunity to build each person’s mental and physical coordination, moving beyond talent into dexterity, technical ability, and conceptual refinement.
ARTREACH is your opportunity to work with professional visual artists in a variety of subject areas-bringing them to your classroom, community group or workplace. These artists are specially trained to work with individuals in a variety of settings, stimulating creativity while teaching formal art elements, techniques and history. The Art School strives for learning experiences that are active, exciting and truly enriching.
ARTREACH experiences take place in your facility.
ARTREACH instruction has been used to enhance events like KSPS kid’s concerts, the Concert for the Royal Fireworks, the Imagination Celebration and has worked with the West Central Community Center, Crosswalk, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center to develop safe and substantive after-school programs. We provide in-depth contact with visual artists which helps students to better understand the multiple facets of visual communication.
